LCS (Laser Cast System) Stereo

Portable Judder Bar – Orrsum Laser Services
Boy racers can often pose a dangerous threat to the public. Excessive speed often leads to serious injury and even death. So when asked to design a portable judder bar system, LIPHER Design developed innovative concepts whilst remaining within regulation standards. The judder bar is designed to be easily carried and then bolted to the road using simple tools.

“T.U.R.T.L.E” Emergency Housing – Pinecone NZ Ltd
LIPHER Design aided Pinecone NZ to visualise their emergency shelters. Using a patented staple system, these emergency structures can be assembled within hours even by those with little knowledge of building. These shelters are strong and weatherproof, making them ideal for providing fast housing in disaster zones around the world.

Plastic bottles take up a lot of space in our landfills. LIPHER Design was asked by Industrial Mouldings Ltd to create concepts of bottles that would collapse into the smallest size possible. Taking an ‘outside the box’ approach, LIPHER Design generated concepts that ranged from crushable bottles to bottles that tear apart.

Regulations now state that all electrical cords used in commercial workspaces remain off the floor. LIPHER was asked by Paul Orr to improve his idea for an electrical cord hanger. Designed to suit the conditions and hand sizes of the modern worker, this tool allows cords to be neatly wrapped up and stored away on any wall.

Although we cannot show images of this project due to a pending patent, we can reveal that LIPHER was asked to re-design an exercise machine for those who are paralysed. We will reveal the images once authorised by the client.
